Steve Kenyon
I have a great deal of experience sailing the Australian east Coast on my own yachts and some offshore in the Pacific. I also have a valid Master V qualification and have worked as a Skipper on Construction and Fishing charters for many years.
Whist sailing I have explored the Qld coast extensively in shallow draught yachts so have first hand knowledge of nearly every river and safe anchorage on the coast. (Several Articles published in "Cruising Helmsman")
I'm adventurous, yet still cautious with regard to weather etc. I'm fit and healthy, good swimmer and diver, affable with a keen sense of humour. I have a long term knowledge of synoptic events so respect the weather and am considered quite reliable in so far as judging when to sail, or simply stay put, safe and sound.
Yes I'm enthusiastic, easy going, enjoy cooking, don't mind cleaning, good with maintenance, can follow orders, and simply love sailing into a sunset or new dawn. Also a photographer, author, and experienced traveller (64 countries so far) ..
